Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using Silver Footfalls. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions. Breaking it may lead us to suspend or close your account and, where appropriate, to report you to the authorities.

Silver Footfalls is a first-party content site: we publish our own audio stories. You cannot post, upload, or publish your own content here, so this policy is mainly about who may use the Site and how you may use what you buy.

1. Adult content is for over-18s

The Site is open to everyone, but some content is sexually explicit and for adults only. You may only access that content if you are 18 or over and it is legal for you to view such content where you are. You must complete our age check when asked. See Age Verification.

2. Don’t share, copy, or resell what you buy

Your purchase is a personal licence for your own private enjoyment (see the licence terms in our Terms & Conditions). You must not:

  • copy, record, download (beyond ordinary streaming), or redistribute the content;
  • share, resell, rent, lend, sub-licence, or publicly perform or display it;
  • share your account login or your access with anyone else;
  • upload our content to any other website, app, file-share, or social platform; or
  • remove or bypass any access control, watermark, or security measure.

3. Don’t use our content to train AI or data-mine the Site

You must not use any content from the Site — in whole or in part — to train, fine-tune, or develop machine-learning or AI models, or for text or data mining, and you must not scrape, crawl, or systematically harvest the Site, without our prior written permission.

4. Don’t misuse the Site

You must not:

  • use the Site for anything unlawful, or to break these rules;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its systems, or other accounts;
  • interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure;
  • use bots, scrapers, or other automated means without our permission;
  • get around, or try to get around, our age check or any access control;
  • impersonate anyone, or misuse the Site to harass or harm others; or
  • use stolen or unauthorised payment details, or attempt fraudulent chargebacks.

5. Reporting

If you come across content on the Site that you believe is illegal, infringes your rights, or breaches this policy, please tell us through our Complaints & Takedown page. We take reports seriously and will review them promptly.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected breaches and take action that is appropriate and proportionate — including warning you, removing access, suspending or closing your account, refusing future service, and reporting serious or unlawful conduct to the police or other authorities.
